Unmanned underwater vehicles are helping to rejuvenate Keyport

"As Navy SEALs prepare below decks for a nighttime reconnaissance mission of a terrorist camp, the newly converted submarine USS Ohio launches a 5-ton object out of one its massive missile tubes.

Only this object isn't a nuclear missile, but a 28-foot unmanned underwater vehicle, or UUV, called the Seahorse.

Before the special forces leave the Ohio in mini-subs, the Seahorse will comb the coasted waters for mines, paving a safe path.

And fully integrated into this hypothetical but certainly realistic mission are the UUV testing and combat systems capabilities of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center at Keyport."
