Students’ pilotless plane may protect Delhi


'The Delhi College of Engineering (DCE) plans to launch five pilotless planes for the active surveillance of the National Capital Region (NCR) during the Commonwealth Games in the year 2010.

Inspired by the huge success of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles of Delhi College of Engineering at the International Aerial Robotics Competition held at Georgia, USA, the DCE now hopes to do its bit to boost the internal security, safety and surveillance ability of the country, said DCE Principal PB Sharma.'
