International Tribune Reports on the State of UAVs


The International Tribune posted an article today reporting on the current state of UAVs as well as speculating on the future. The article talks about the safety aspects of UAVs, how they are being used today, the countries actively involved in UAV development, and current uses for UAVs.

Some people are very positive on the future of UAVs

"The majority of aviation will be unmanned in the next 25 to 50 years."
While others were not quite so sure
"UAVs "are not likely to entirely replace piloted aircraft, except in persistent and dirty situations"
