Aerial drones being used for civilian applications

'Aerial drones are most commonly associated in Arizona with the military and Border Patrol operations, but some of the unmanned vehicles produced in the state are also being put to civilian uses.

Tucson drone-maker Advanced Ceramics Research produces a model that was recently used in a joint air pollution study by the Scripps Institute, National Science Foundation, NASA and the National Optical Astronomy Observatory in the Maldives, in the Indian Ocean.'
