Video searching
The beta of a new video search engine called blinkx is up and it raises some interesting questions, beginning with "Why".
Yahoo and alltheweb currently have video tabs on their search pages. When I entered the search term "SCTV," I got back the most links from alltheweb and the fewest from blinkx.
Perhaps the differentiator is blinkx's ability to search for podcasts, video blogs and similar ephemera. Let's see how far that takes them.
