We're all familiar with Dogpile and other search engine result aggregators, but here's something different. It's a Northwestern University class project to aggregate results from just two engines, Yahoo and Google: Double Trust.
I have been playing with it for a couple of weeks and have not reached a decision on its usefulness yet. I'll post some firm conclusions by next week, though.
Does something in the Double Trust approach strike you as useful from a searcher perspective? Drop a comment below.
Imagine the hair-pulling this could cause ranking consultants if the model propagates.
