Digital Camera Info reviews the Pentax Optio E10 and writes - 'While its not bursting with fancy features or the latest image processing capabilities, it does a solid job of taking pictures quickly and easily. But be warned, Pentax: Olympus manufactures the D-series, a line of low-end point-and-shoots similar to the E10, many of which go for less than $200 online and Panasonic just released a $200 camera with their trademark MEGA optical image stabilization - a feature that alone makes it a better value than the E10.'
DigiCam Review has posted a review of the Pentax Optio E10 and writes - 'The Pentax Optio E10 is a budget 6 megapixel digital camera with a 3x optical zoom lens and a fairly large 2.4" TFT screen. The camera's price makes the camera appear to be a bargain, but the camera has far too many problems for it to be recommended. Speed in use, high noise, poor picture quality, poor video mode, and poor screen quality are just some of the cameras flaws. This camera's most irritating flaws are the speed at which the camera operates, and the very poor success rate focusing indoors - these flaws are something digital cameras from several years ago were guilty of, and in 2006 is simply unnacceptable. If you intend to take any photos indoors then this camera is definitely to be avoided! '

WTF this camera is nice to use, yeah its slightly noisey, and slow to turn on but hello its an easy to use camera not a new great $1,500 doller camera!
The Pentax Optio E10 was my first camera. I got it for my Birthday in 2006. This camera is by far the most shocking camera I have not only ever seen but ever used. In many ways it's scarred me to buy a new camera because i'm afraid it will be another bad camera. Not long after having it did I see it to start disappearing, it obviously didn't have what it takes to stay on the shelves. It took forever to take photo's and most photo's taken with flash would be over exposed and pale. The features made absolute no difference and it really annoyed me. I think when i first purchased the camera it was around $300 dollars.. I think in total the amount of times of taken it out to take photo's has been about 3 times all up. My phone has a better camera on it than this pentax. I also was told pentax is the best buy, Not what i found to be the case. I'm warning all readers to stay away from this camera.
wasted my money, my time and made me think twice about purchasing a new camera. Let's hope all my future camera's are better than this one. Oh and also i had no noise issues with it but i'm very confused by people saying they like this camera, are we talking about the same camera??
