Press Release
Announcing the Mju 410 Digital from Olympus - Enhancing an award winning range

Olympus is introducing the Mju 410 Digital, the latest addition to the world’s most popular camera series. The Mju 410 is encased in a full metal body with a silver finish, offers 4 megapixels and a 3x optical zoom. The Mju 410 is the first Mju Digital model to feature TruePic Turbo, a new image processor which sharpens image clarity, contrast and colour for life-like results. This feature also makes the camera 30% faster in processing images and is combined with a super fast shutter release time. Available from March, RRP £299.99 (inc VAT). For stockist information freephone 0800 072 0070 or visit www.olympus.co.uk.

The Mju 410 Digital’s 3x optical zoom (equivalent to 35-105mm on a 35 mm camera) has been specially designed to suit the CCD. This ensures prints of the highest quality, even when printed on A4 format. Thanks to the PictBridge standard, printing is easy. The need for a PC is eliminated when the camera is used with compatible printers, such as the Olympus dye-sublimation P-10.

A range of automatic functions such as TTL autofocus and Digital ESP (Electro Selective Pattern) light metering help ensure best results with the minimum of fuss. The Mju 410 Digital boasts a scene programme for every occasion: users can choose from eight variations – Portrait, Self Portrait, Night Scene, Landscape, Landscape with Portrait, Beach and Snow, Cuisine and Indoor.

The model also features a movie recording function plus sound, enabling you to bring all your images to life. The length of the recording is only limited by the capacity of the xD-Picture Card. The Mju 410 Digital features a 1.5” 134, 000 pixel LCD monitor, perfect for framing shots and viewing them straight away.

The Mju 410 Digital comes with a high voltage, environment-friendly rechargeable lithium-ion battery and charger.
