Press Release
Ricoh launches user friendly Caplio RR330, 3.1 Megapixel camera at a competitive price

February 2003, Ricoh is pleased to announce the release of the Caplio RR330 - a 3.1 megapixel, easy to use, digital camera that offers consumers a tempting introduction to the world of digital photography.

The Caplio RR330 is the latest addition to the Ricoh Caplio series - a series that encompasses the concept of delivering high quality performance, excellent value and style to its users. With a 3x optical zoom, and 2x digital zoom giving a combined performance of 6x zoom, the RR330 produces sharp, good quality images that are hard to beat by other cameras in this class, at this price.

The Caplio RR330 is an affordably priced digital camera with a Recommended Retail Price of £179.99 including VAT. Featuring a lens at the centre of the camera body, this simple, user-friendly point-and-shoot interface offers users a familiar, trusted feel and a balance similar to that of conventional compact cameras. Transferring images via USB cable to the computer is fast and simple. The RR330 comes with a useful 16MB of internal memory but is compatible with SD card and Multi-Media cards.

Just point and shoot – taking good quality pictures is easy with the RR330. No excuse for anybody not to enter the digital photography market. For those more competent users, there is the Mode dial button enabling the user to choose one of four settings: Auto Flash, Flash On/Off, Night View Portrait or Red Eye Reduction. There is also the option of being able to adjust the brightness of the 1.5-inch LCD monitor so that your images can be viewed in the very best light.

“The RR330 is a welcome addition to the award winning Caplio range”, commented Dominic Wingent, Ricoh Sales Manager for the UK.” It meets the requirement for a simple-to-use, entry level, 3 megapixel digital camera at an unbeatable price with no compromise on image quality”.

Caplio RR330 Standard Package Contents:
USB Cable, Video Cable, Software CD (Win/Mac), AA Alkaline batteries (2), Hand strap and Instruction manual.
