The EPSON Stylus Photo RX420's flexibility allows users to print direct from virtually any memory card. Photographs can be easily enlarged up to A4, directly from the memory card or from photographs. The index print functionality allows the user to conveniently view all images from the memory card and print only the photos required, without using a PC. Users can also select DPOF (Digital Print Order Format) setting via their digital camera to specify which images and how many copies they require.
Furthermore, the EPSON Stylus Photo RX420 offers high-quality photo printing at competitive prices. For extra convenience Epson has also produced a PhotoPack, containing a full set of cartridges and 10 x 15cm premium glossy photo paper to make 100 photos.
The EPSON Stylus Photo RX420 also includes the latest versions of EPSON’s photo printing and editing software: PhotoQuicker 3.5, Print Image Framer Tool and Designer 2.1.
“The EPSON Stylus Photo RX420 provides digital converts with an attractively priced all-in-one device that caters for their needs,” says Richard Baylis, Sales and Marketing Manager, Consumer Products, EPSON UK. “It is an easy to use, standalone device giving photo lab quality output at economical prices.”
According to GFK the all-in-one printer market has become the fastest growing segment of the total inkjet printer market with a rolling year-to-date growth of 130% year-on-year[1].
IDC[2] forecasts that all-in-one devices in EU5 will reach around 18.7 million by 2008. “EPSON has addressed the main concerns coming from non-technical consumers who are keen to experiment with digital photo printing in the home.
These concerns centred on quality, convenience and cost. The EPSON Stylus Photo RX420 has combined all the necessary features to provide users with the complete home digital partner,” says Baylis.
