Casio are the latest to release 5 new digital cameras:
- Casio Exilim Pro EX-P700 - 7.2 Megapixels and 4x Optical Zoom (heaps of features).
- Casio Exilim Card EX-S100 - Super slim 3.2Megapixels - 2.8x Optical Zoom.
- Casio Exilim EX-Z55 - 5 megapixels with a 3x optical zoom and 2.5 inch LCD.
- Casio Exilim EX-Z50 - 5 megapixels with a 3x optical zoom and 2.0 inch LCD.
- Casio Exilim QV-R61 - 6 megapixles with a 3x optical zoom and 2.0 inch LCD.
Canon has been the busiest when it comes to new digital cameras with the following releases:
- Canon EOS 20D - An 8.2 Megapixel DSLR.
- Canon Powershot A400 - A 3.2 Megapixel, 2.2x Optical Zoom digicam that comes in four colours.
- Canon Powershot S70 - A 7.1 Megapixel compact with 3.6 optical Zoom.
- Canon Powershot A95 - With 5.0 megapixels and 3x Optical Zoom.
- Canon EF-S 10-22mm Lens - New macro lenses from Canon
- Canon Speedlite 580EX Flash - New flash unit for Canon DSLRs.
Ricoh has also announced the Ricoh Caplio RZ1 - a 4.0 megapixel digicam with a 3x optical Zoom.
Pentax started the new camera announcements a few days back with two new cameras:
- Pentax Optio 750Z - a 7.0 megapixel digital camera with a 5x Optical Zoom.
- Pentax Optio S50 - a 5 megapixel, 3x optical zoom digital camera.
- Pentax Optio S5i - another 5 megapixel digicam with a 3x Optical Zoom.
- Penax Optio X - a new swivel designed 5.0 megapixel digital camera with a 3x Optical Zoom.
Rollei have also chipped in with two new offerings:
- Rollei Prego da4 - with a 4.1 megapixel sensor and 3x optical zoom.
- Rollei Prego da 3 - 3.2 Megapixels and a 3x optical Zoom.
Minox has entered the new digital camera frenzy with two new cameras:
- Minox DC 4211 - 4.2 Megapixels with a 3x Optical Zoom.
- Minox DC 6311 - 6 megapixels with a 3x Optical Zoom.
Sanyo have updated their Xacti camera:
- Sanyo Xacti C4 - Dual video/still digital camera. 4.0 megapixels.
Sony have entered the fray with three impressive looking digital cameras:
- Sony Cybershot T3 - 5.1 megapixels, 3x Optical Zoom, 2.5inch LCD, slimline.
- Sony Cybershot DSC-L1 - 4.1 megapixels, 3x Optical zoom.
- Sony Cybershot DSC-V3 - 7.2 megapixels, 4x Optical Zoom.
HP have also released 3 new digital cameras and a new camera dock:
- HP Photosmart R607 - 4.1 Megapixels and a 3x Optical Zoom.
- HP Photosmart M407 - 4.1 Megapixels and a 3x optical Zoom.
- HP Photosmart M307 - 3.2 Megapixels with a 3x Optical Zoom.
- HP Photosmart M-Series Dock
Yakumo have also put two new digicams onto the market:
- Yakumo Mega-Image VII - 3.1 Megapixles with an 8x digital zoom.
- Yakumo Mega-Image 84D - 4 Megapixels with an 8x Optical Zoom.
