10 Things You Should Know About The Nikon D70

Nikon D70-1
Popular Photography Magazine has a useful article titled 10 Things You Should Know About The Nikon D70 that potential D70 buyers should check out before making the purchase. Here's how it starts:

'To date, the Nikon D70 is the best-selling Nikon single-lens reflex of all time. And that's not in the least bit surprising; the price was right, the package was right, the image quality was right, and the camera can use about 10 zillion Nikon lenses going back nearly three decades. But ultimately, we think it was the excellent handling and straightforward operation of the D70 that sold it. To hold and shoot one is to want one. So don't expect any mystery sequences or secret trapdoors on this camera. A considerable number of settings, though, are made via menus, and a good number of these provide useful little tweaks.'
