It will be known as the Olympus D-540 in North America and as the Olympus C-360 in Europe and SE Asia.

The Olympus C-360 ZOOM - Sharper images at an amazing price
Olympus is proud to announce the C-360 ZOOM digital camera. The 3 megapixel model has a 3x optical zoom and an optimised image processing system for stunning results. Not only does this process images more quickly but prints will also boast sharper contrast and colour. The C-360 ZOOM offers five different scene programmes enabling the user to master any photographic situation. These include Landscape for sweeping mountain ranges and Night Scene to capture the atmosphere of the beach after sundown. Even the tiniest of details can be recorded thanks to the Super Macro mode which enables shooting from as close as 7cm away.
The model also features a moving image mode with sound ideal for capturing sporting moments with commentary, or a child’s first steps and words. Still images can be downloaded without the use of a PC as the C-360 ZOOM supports the PictBridge standard. The camera connects to a PictBridge compatible printer, such as the Olympus P-10, to produce prints of the highest quality.
The C-360 ZOOM is also compatible with the Olympus Software Development Kit (SDK). This controls all the camera’s functions from a computer, such as zoom, exposure and camera release.
