Phelps now has three gold and two bronze in Athens, and still has a shot at tying gymnast Alexander Dityatin's Olympic record of eight medals in one Games.

I was in my living room with my parents and we all cheered for you in every race you were in.
Even cheered when they had re-plays of you swimming.

Michael I just wanted to say that you are an AMAZING swimmer and have really inspired me, I've been swimming for about 2-3 years and am now taking a lifeguarding class. Hopefully I can meet you one day at the Olympics or somewhere else, and even maybe you can give me some tips on swimming! :) Congragulations and Good Luck! Hi Michael. In my speech class we have to do an introduction speech for a famous (or not famous) person. We have to tell a little about their life and accomplishments. The audience of my speech is for high school students and I said you would be talking about drunk driving (i heard about the DUI thing and how you want to talk to teens about it). I'm so excited! I'm gonna try to get an "A". My speech is on Thursday and I hope 2 update u on what grade i get! I've been swimming since I was a baby (and on a team since I was 8). Swimming is my favorite sport! I agree with the other gurl...I'm vegetarian & if u went vegetarian u would b the #1 Vegetarian Hottie! LOL 4 real!! :) I like that u let Ian take ur place in that relay!
