Virgin Mobile Lobster 700TV

Virgin Mobile Lobster 700TVComputerActive reviews the Virgin Mobile Lobster 700TV and writes, "the Lobster 700TV includes four stations - BBC1, ITV1, E4 and Channel 4. The first three are simulcasts, showing exactly what the respective TV transmissions receive. Channel 4, though, for now shows short made-for-mobile TV clips with the main channel expected to follow later. Video quality was excellent when staying in one place, but occasionally the signal dropped or was out of sync, though the radio signal was more robust. .... There's a camera on board, but this is unexceptional at 1.3 megapixels."

Trusted Reviews reviews the Virgin Mobile Lobster 700TV and writes, "Bluetooth is built in but is neither infrared nor Wi-Fi (the latter is still rare for Windows Mobile Smartphones). The handset is Tri-band GSM, and there is a 1.3 megapixel camera on the back with neither flash nor self portrait mirror to give its low megapixel count a lift. HTC could easily have made the large silver surround for the lens double as a self portrait mirror but chose instead to inlay grooves into most of it."

ITReviews reviews the Virgin Mobile Lobster 700TV and writes, "The mention of Pocket Internet Explorer above might have given away to you the fact that this is a Windows Mobile device. Its is a Windows Mobile Smartphone to be precise, and you get the usual ActiveSync software, connecting cable, and onboard diary, contact management, e-mail, Windows Media Player and other software that comes as part of the deal. And there is a 1.3-megapixel camera too. Apart from poor battery life, the other main turn-off is the overall size of the Lobster 700TV. At 111.2mm tall, 58mm wide and 23.8mm deep and weighing 140g it is both larger and heavier than a lot of other handsets. The bulge on the right-hand side isn't exactly pretty, either."
