Siemens SFG75

Siemens-SG75The Siemens SG75 is less than 10 centimeters long and is full of surprises. This elegant mobile phone comprises email and organizer functions, Internet access as well as a high-quality 1.3-megapixel camera and a second camera for video calls. Entertainment is ensured too: Mobile users can view both their own and downloaded videos or listen to their favorite songs on the integrated MP3 player in their leisure time. At the same time, the Siemens mobile is an eye-catcher in itself with its semiautomatic slider (ProSlide) function.

From the news release:

Video calls, music downloads, video streaming, MMS and much more – multimedia on the move is now really good fun with the Siemens SFG75. This stylish clamshell mobile for the fast UMTS mobile telephony networks provides everything necessary for mobile communication and entertainment. Two color displays, a 1.3-megapixel camera with flash and digital zoom, Bluetooth as well as an MP3 and video player satisfy every wish. Moreover, the compact mobile phone in the classic sophisticated look is exceedingly good value for money.

A slender shape and versatility are central characteristics of the compact SFG75 UMTS mobile from Siemens. Quality materials and a sophisticated appearance underpin its stylish, classical design. At the same time, the SFG75 is packed to capacity with the latest mobile technology and boasts an excellent price-performance ratio.

Top-of-the-range multimedia provides for good entertainment on the move. Precious moments can be captured effortlessly either in pictures using the built-in 1.3 megapixel camera (with flash and 10x digital zoom) or as short film clips – and subsequently viewed in brilliant colors on the large internal display or sent to friends by MMS at the touch of only a few buttons. Now two parties can even chat on the phone and look each other in the eye at the same time – a second camera above the display and fast UMTS data transfer make video calls via mobile a pleasure.

The SFG75 with integrated MP3 player as well as a music and video player that enable the memory-saving AAC and AMR formats to be played back also displays musical talent. Listening to favorite songs any time is easy now – whether doing sports, in the train or at the dentist’s. However, the SFG75 does not just offer a treat for the ears; it also offers a feast for the eyes: Completely up-to-date video clips, the latest news or the most exciting goals of the soccer season can be downloaded directly onto the mobile in a flash from the Internet using the 3G turbo. Moreover, a mini SD card in the mobile provides ample memory for music, photos and movies. All the music and video functions in the SFG75 can be accessed at the touch of a button – a separate button on the phone has been reserved for this purpose.

No mobile is like the other. With elegant background pictures, fantastic logos and cheerful animations, the SFG75 can be given its own very individual character. Those with a playful bent can also try their hand at exciting Java games like tennis or Extreme Racing.

A stereo headset and a USB data cable for synchronizing data with a PC are also supplied with the SFG75.

The SFG75 will be on retail sale in the color “Silver-Black” from November 2005 and will be priced in the mid-range segment.
