Update: EngadgetMobile reports that Cingular is now offering the Samsung SGH-D807 thin slider phone, which features a 1.3 megapixel camera.

It's available for $129.99 after rebate, with a new contract.

CNET reviews the Samsung SGH-D807 and finds it an appealing, fashoinable phone that's hampered only by slippery navigation keys.

About the phone's camera: "A welcome feature on the Samsung SGH-D807 is its 1.3-megapixel camera. There's no flash, so it's not great in low light, but you can adjust the camera's brightness setting. ... Picture quality was satisfactory for a 1.3-megapixel camera--not excellent but still pretty good compared with the lower-quality VGA camera phones out there. As for video, you can shoot in one of two resolutions--176x144 and 128x96--and record with the audio on or off. Recorded clips were predictably low quality."

Mobiledia has a review of the Samsung SGH-D807 and writes, "The D807's 1.3-megapixel camera is solid as an occasional replacement for the standalone digital camera. It fares much better than the older VGA cameras but trails many dedicated camera phones that can be found from major carriers. The lack of a flash hurts it in comparison with other 1+ megapixel counterparts but the robust filters and functions are useful options and a nice bonus."
