Samsung A737
Samsung A737 Press Release
The a737 is a lightweight device available in four color combinations: black/orange, black/blue, black/red and black/lime. The a737 also offers the best AT&T features and services, including the groundbreaking Video Share, AT&T Mobile Music, stereo Bluetooth® 2.0 technology, a 1.3-megapixel camera with video record, external memory microSD™ cards up to 4GB and advanced messaging options. The sliding design allows for a larger screen, which is great for browsing, reviewing photos and Video Share calling.
"AT&T's newest 3G sliding phone is a great addition to our rapidly expanding portfolio of 3G devices," said Carlton Hill, vice president of Product Development for AT&T's wireless unit. "Consumers demand slim, visually appealing phones that can run the latest applications. The a737 slides easily into that description."
"Samsung's a737 provides consumers with high-performance technology in a compact device," said Peter Skarzynski, senior vice president, Samsung. "With multiple color options and numerous multimedia capabilities, the a737 meets the needs of today's fashion-forward consumers who use their phones for more than a communication tool."
Because the a737 supports AT&T's Video Share service, users can share one-way live video while participating in a voice call. Both customers must be in an area served by the company's 3G network and have a Video Share-enabled phone — such as the a737. Users can also send messages to friends and families any way they choose with Text Messaging, Mobile Email, AOL®, Yahoo!® and Windows Live Instant Messaging.
AT&T Mobile Music allows customers to use Napster and eMusic to load music on the handset. The a737 supports over-the-air music downloads through eMusic Mobile, and other services including Music ID, XM Radio, music video viewing, The Buzz music news portal and more.
Inside the a737, users will have 3G connectivity to AT&T's BroadbandConnect network in more than 170 major metropolitan areas across the U.S. Data coverage outside 3G service areas is available via AT&T's nationwide1 EDGE network, the largest high speed wireless data network in the U.S. AT&T's EDGE network is available in more than 13,000 cities and towns and along some 40,000 miles of major highways.

Samsung A737 Reviews
CNET reviews the Samsung SGH-A737 and writes, "The A737 offers a 1.3-megapixel camera. You can take pictures in five resolutions (1,280x1,024; 800x600; 640x480; 320x240; and 240x180) and choose from five quality settings. Other features include a night mode, exposure metering, brightness and white-balance controls, multishot and mosaic shot modes, a self-timer, three color effects, 20 fun frames, and a digital zoom, though this last feature is unusable at the highest photo resolution. There are a few shutter and camera function sounds as well, but you can't silence the shutter completely. Also, it's disappointing that there's no flash. Photo quality wasn't stellar; images were washed out and too blurry."
MobileBurn reviews the Samsung SGH-A737 and writes, "Opening the phone also reveals the 1.3 Megapixel camera lens on the opposite side of the earpiece/speaker. Next to the camera lens is a convex mirror to aid in framing self portraits. Sadly there's no flash, but you can't expect everything in a phone at this price point."
