Pantech Curitel PH-L4000V Camcorder phone
infoSync World previews the Pantech L-4000V and writes - 'One of few handsets that appears to place equal weight on the two tasks it fulfills, the L-4000V is a clamshell CDMA handset with an absolutely astonishing 262K colour, 2“ TFT main display, which depending on its orentation either functions as a camcorder viewfinder or phone user interface.
Equipped with a 2.1 Megapixel CCD and 3x optical zoom, the L-4000V shoots stills and records video with auto focus and 3x optical zoom like there's no tomorrow, relying on memory cards for storage. On the ergonomic side of things, I found the L-4000V to be surprisingly balanced; granted, it's small for a camcorder and large for a phone, but Pantech has struck a nice compromise between size and features.'
Telecoms Korea has news of a new Pantech Curitel's Camcorder phone - the PH-L4000V - complete with swivel screen, 2.14 megapixelstill camera and 2x Optical Zoom.'South Korea’s third largest handset maker is to release PH-L4000V, a uniquely designed camcorder phone. It also adopts a swiveling folder which offers much convenience in shooting video or still images. It comes with the tripod compatible with the international standard that prevents shaking, the company added.
PH-L4000 with a 2.14-megapixel camera module is a big step forward in the evolution of camera phones which have been thought of being suitable only for snap pictures. With enhanced camera system such as auto focus and 2x optical zoom, the handset is also enabled with FM radio, MP3 player and TV-out.'
