Orange SPV C600

CoolSmartPhone has an excellent preview of the Orange SPV C600 (with lots of pictures and screenshots), and writes about the SPV C600's camera: "The Orange SPV C600 has a 1.3 megapixel camera and uses the same lens as the C550. The photo quality is better than HTC Magician and HTC Alpine (iMate JAM, Qtek S100, iMate PDA2, Qtek 2020i) and looks incredible on screen, the overall quality seems to be acceptable. But it still doesn't come near any Nokia Symbian Series 60 Smartphone, like the Nokia 6630 or 6680."
The preview concludes: "With good battery life (5-6 days), a superb screen and 1.3 megapixel camera and the new Windows Mobile 5 operating system, the device is a worthy C500 sucessor and worth buying if you are still stuck with a SPV e200 or C500. However, the differences between the C550 and C600 are minimal."
PocketInfo reviews the Orange SPV C600 and talks about the phone's camera: "It falls us on that the camera application a lot rapidly starts up. That is therefore very positive because we have noticed at other Smartphones already more often that the camera application slows down the complete toestel and that photograph has already fared moment then generally. The software of the camera has been rather extended. You can a photograph take, a video to take, MMS video to take, a photograph to take and that couples directly to a contact or a photograph as beeldtheme (background) to store. "
CoolSmartPhone reviews the Orange SPV C600 and concludes, "The C600 is a very good phone. It does all the flashy stuff you want plus it ain't bad at making phone calls either. Call quality is spot on and it connected to my Bluetooth headset first time. Whilst it's not a massively different handset from the C500, Orange have built on the success that the C500 gave. The SPV C600 can be compared to a Formula 1 car. Although it looks almost the same as last years F1 car, the engine, on-board computer, suspension and stability of the car have been improved greatly."
Infosync reviews the Orange SPV C600 and writes about the phone's camera: "As with the camera of the C550, the 1.3 Megapixel variety of the C600 offers improved colour representation and higher resolution over the C500 - yet its results are entirely mediocre as compared to competing offerings such as the Nokia N90. Thankfully, someone had the wits about them to introduce a recessed lens unlike the flush one found in the C500, so at least pictures won't come out looking like crap after about a month of use."
MSMobileNews reviews the Orange SPV C600 and writes about the device's camera: "The integrated camera takes stills at 1.3 MegaPixel quality which is fine for snaps but won't replace your digital camera, the stills are of a good enough quality to print assuming you have the correct lighting conditions, unfortunately without a flash, photographs in the dark are beyond the capability of the C600.
The C600 also records videos at a resolution of 176x144 at best in MPEG-4, H.263, and AVI which should keep the vast majority of user’s happy, duration being limited only by the amount of storage that you have available; this is great for capturing those embarrassing moments! "
Tom Warren reviews the Orange SPV C600 at Neowin and discusses the smartphone's camera: "Now that the camera is 1.3 megapixels, this allows for us to take 1280x1024 pictures in "superfine" mode. Other modes available are 640x480, 320x240 and 160x120. All pictures get stored in "My Pictures" within "My Documents" on the internal memory or storage card. I recommend purchasing a mini-SD card to ensure you can take a lot of pictures in the best quality. The pictures are available to view and edit in the "Pictures & Videos" application."
Pocket-Lint reviews the Orange SPV C600 and concludes, " It may not be an all-singing, all-dancing, all computing machine like some smartphones, but at least you can go singing and dancing with the C600 in your pocket without feeling like a total freak when it falls onto the floor at your feet."
