Nokia Remote Camera
The Nokia Remote Camera isn't a 'camera phone' but it is made by one of the major players so we thought we'd cover the story of it here. The Nokia Remote Camera helps you keep an eye - and an ear - on things. Install it indoors or outdoors, in your home or cottage, warehouse or office. When it detects motion, it snaps a photo (megapixel resolution) and sends it as an MMS to your phone or to an email address. It's peace of mind in a compact device.
Remote Camera:
- Sends images and video clips on request, at set times, or automatically on detecting motion
- Megapixel (1152x864) camera also takes night pictures using its infrared light source
- Integrated motion and temperature detector
- Captures video clips with sound
- One-way audio connection: call in and listen
- Wireless connection to mobile phone or email
- Remote control with a compatible mobile phone
- Transceiver operates on GSM 900/1800 networks
- Built-in back-up battery
Available: Planned availability in the 4th quarter of 2004
