Motorola Z10 Reviews

Trusted Reviews has a review of the Motorola Z10 and writes, "When it comes to stills the 3.2-megapixel camera is quite good. With autofocus and a flash (it doubles as a torch), the camera did a fairly neat job on test...The other key characteristic relates to Motorola's tagline for this handset - ‘We're all film makers now'. You can use this mobile to shoot video, edit it on the phone then upload to the Web. The camera can mange up to 30 frames a second, and video length is limited only by the size of your storage space. Nicely future-proofed, the Z10 can cope with up to 32GB of microSD memory."

PC Advisor reviews the Motorola Z10 and writes, "The Motorola Z10 has not one but two 3.2Mp cameras - a primary camera located on the back of the phone which is activated when the handset is closed and a secondary camera on the front of the phone that springs to life when the device is slide open, ensuring you can capture video and photos of yourself and your subjects."

3G reviews the Motorola Z10 and writes, "While the camera results are perfectly acceptable and there’s a host of features to play around with, the Z10 still falls short of more equipped camera phones, such as Sony Ericsson’s K850i Cyber-shot or Samsung’s G800. The secondary VGA camera is also poor, though it does mean you will be able to conduct video calls if you so wish. Another slight grumble we had was that rather than use the ideally positioned volume keys as the zooming functions, you must instead use the trickier navigation pad, which takes away from the authentic camera feel."

Pocket-lint reviews the Motorola Z10 and writes, "Around the back of the phone you’ll find a 3.2MP camera, which will shoot stills and video. Video capture is MPEG4 H.264, at 30fps, up to QVGA, although in the phone the settings options refer to quality as low, medium or high and the sizes as small, medium or large. There are a whole host of settings you can choose from – perhaps too many – and in reality it will take some trial and error to get the best results."

CNET UK reviews the Motorola Z10 and writes, "If watching films on the Z10's relatively small screen doesn't float your boat, then you can always shoot and edit your own films using the Z10's camera. We weren't particularly blown away by the quality of the video but the editing software is pretty easy to use and lets you add effects, such as fading transitions, and add music from your library."
