Motorola L6The Motorola L6 is a candybar RAZR launched by Motorola for the Indian market. The L6 sports a VGA camera.

Motorola SLVR L6 Reviews

CoolTechZone reviews the Motorola SLVR L6, and writes about the phone's camera, "The phone has a regular VGA camera, which is all right for the job, but nothing spectacular by any means. It lets you zoom in by up to 4x, but the image quality deteriorates quite a bit with each subsequent zoom. While transferring images to our notebook using the Bluetooth function, the L6 gives you two options: copy, where it just puts a copy onto the other device and move, where it will move the image to a different device and delete the copy on the phone. Its a handy feature as it rids you of having to delete the photographs manually every time you copy them to your PC."

PCMag reviews the Motorola SLVR L6 and says, about the phone's camera: "The VGA camera takes indistinct, washed-out photos and thumbnail-sized, 128-by-96 videos at 5 frames per second. Java gaming performance was better than that of the RAZR and PEBL. There's about 10MB of memory for photos, videos, ringtones, and Java games, which is plenty if you're not a big data hound."

Pocket-lint reviews the Motorola SLVR L6, and comments on the phone's camera, "Sadly, the commonality stretches to the VGA camera, which isnt great considering the current trend towards offering megapixel snappers on even the most basic handsets. Even so, the images it produces are passable, and it has a video camera as well."

Update: Another pink phone: exclusive to T-Mobile UK, Motorola has released a salmon pink version of the SLVR L6.

Mobiledia reviews the Motorola SLVR L6 and concludes that it's not a phone for the high-end user. However, for consumers looking for a nice looking, reasonably priced phone, the L6 is a good choice.

About the phone's VGA camera, the review says, "Overall the SLVR L6 isn't a great camera phone. Using technology found on mobile devices over a year ago, Motorola has decided to use old parts while other manufacturers push the megapixel boundaries. Good for taking photo wallpapers or contact IDs, the still and video capture offers mediocre quality at best."

CNET reviews the Motorola SLVR L6 and has this to say about the phone's VGA camera: "Like the Slvr L7, the L6 has a VGA camera. Though we were disappointed it was on the L7, we're more willing to accept a VGA camera on such a lower-tier phone. It takes pictures in 640x480, 320x240, and 160x120 resolution. On the upside, we liked the useful camera options. A meter keeps track of how much storage space is left, and there's a fair assortment of photo-editing features. ... Photos and video were below par even for a VGA camera; objects were fuzzy, colors were washed out, and videos appeared blocky and blurry."

MobileTechReview reviews the Motorola SLVR L6, and finds it has a majority of popular features without sacrificing the quality of each individual feature. About the phone's camera: "Cingular advertises the L6's built-in, video-capable camera as being "VGA resolution," a term which is sometimes confusing to some users. Perhaps the reason they don't use a megapixel rating is that a VGA resolution, meaning 640 x 480, only amounts to about 0.3 megapixels. As small as that may sound, though, the L6's camera makes reasonably good use of the pixels it has, providing a fairly clear picture, as well as the ability to digitally zoom in up to 4x. Although you wouldn't be able to use the SLVR L6's camera to create a panoramic masterpiece, for occasional snapshots it gets the job done."
