Mobile ESPN MVP Review - PCMag
The Mobile ESPN MVP is the Sanyo MM-9000, rebranded for the Mobile ESPN virtual carrier (which uses the Sprint network). Mobile ESPN has stripped out PC modem access, the USB cable, and push-to-talk functions from Sprint's version of the phone.
PCMag reviews the Mobile ESPN MVP, and is impressed with the ESPN-related features: "Hitting the E button launches you into one of the best-designed mobile information apps I've ever seen. After you digest a quick, random sports trivia fact, a scrolling "sideline" lets you zip between news, box scores, columns, video clips, and custom coverage of your favorite teams and players. Close the phone, and you'll continue to get scrolling headlines and scores. The Mobile ESPN app uses the MVP's 320-by-240 screen to the fullest, showing small but eminently readable razor-sharp text."
