LG VX8700 Review - PCMag

LG VX-8700PCMag reviews the LG VX8700 and writes, "The easy-to-use 2MP camera takes nice, clear, well-balanced, if somewhat underexposed, outdoor shots. Low-light shots, alas, suffered from blur caused by low shutter speeds. The phone also records somewhat wobbly 320-by-240 video at 12 frames per second. It will save shots into the 44MB of internal memory or onto a microSD card (up to 2GB) that's located under the battery. Don't worry about taking the card out, though—the VX8700 has fully operational Bluetooth to send photos to your PC or Mac. ... The LG VX8700 has all the ingredients of a successful consumer phone: good-enough performance, great looks, and a camera that you'd actually want to take pictures with. But at $229.99 ($179.99 with rebate), it's one of Verizon's most expensive phones right now. I prefer to think of it as paying $50 more to get a better camera than the VX8600's, which is reasonable."
