The Tri-band LG 7200 has a 262,000 color TFT LCD (internal - 176 x 200 pixels) as well as a 65,000 color external display (96 x 96 pixels). It looks to pack Bluetooth, Infrared, 64 megabyes internal memory, SD card as well as music control keys on the front cover.
The LG 7200 weighs 105g and measures 96mm x 50mm x 17mm.
There are no details on price or availability on this handset yet but it's looking like being released at least in Russia as this is where the information seems to have leaked from.
LG P7200 Reviews
>MobileBurn reviews the LG P7200 and writes about the phone's camera: "To take self-portraits, you need to swivel the screen to face yourself - I find the angle a bit awkward, as the screen only opens only up to 150 degrees. Shutter lag can be as long as 4 seconds, depending on the speed of focusing (ambient light dependent). Saving pictures is blissful; at the highest resolution and highest quality (approximately 300Kb) it takes only 2 seconds.
Picture quality from the camera is very good, and auto focus is generally accurate. Macro shots look very appealing. Digital noise control indoors is comparable to the Panasonic VS7, and pictures taken under night scene mode are very usable. In terms of color reproduction, it is not as vivid as the K750i, and occasionally there is a red tint to the captured image."
Infosync reviews the LG P7200 and reports on the phone's camera: "In spite of providing a rather low shutter speed, the P7200's 2 Megapixel AutoFocus camera offers very good yet slightly blurry still pictures when used in daylight. Pictures taken in slightly darker environments can best be described as adequate. The camera also offers video recording at 176 x 144 pixels.
What really sets this 2 Megapixel phone apart from others, however, is its ability to quickly assume the nature of a super-slim dedicated camera look-a-like by rotating its swivel front cover 180 degrees and closing it back on top of the keypad. Indeed an ingenious feature, but unfortunately not enough to mitigate the sluggish camera application which caused simple tasks such as saving and sending pictures to become troublesome affairs."
3G reviews the LG P7200 and says, about the phone's camera: "As with all good camera phones, you are offered a host of modes from white balance, brightness, metering, autofocus, flash, scene (portrait, landscape, night) and black and white, sepia and negative effects. Once everything is in place, the picture performance is first-rate, with the photos demonstrating a keen sense of detail and focus. Colours were good and it proved accomplished in Night mode. The autofocus also works well but you must keep the phone steady after initiating the shutter button while the feature works its magic. It only takes a few seconds. You can then choose to save your snaps to the limited internal memory or to an optional TransFlash memory card."
