LG KG810 Reviews

TechDigest reviews the LG KG810 and writes, "The KG810, or chocolate clamshell as it shall eternally be known, is aimed at a market that doesn't want to spend ages figuring out how their phone works, where the shortcuts are, or how to configure their own personalised settings. ... The problem I came up against most with this phone was the battery life. It requires charging every couple of days, and even then, it's touch and go whether you'd make it home before it concked out. However, having done a bit of digging I did find an power save mode, which dims al the screens, which could eak it out for a further day."

MobileBurn reviews the LG KG810 and writes, "Similar to the recently reviewed KG320, the camera takes around three seconds to activate, and the shutter lag is a terrible three seconds as well, which completely destroys any notion of using the camera as a way to capture candid moments. ... I wasn't impressed at all with the quality of the photos taken by the KG810. Everything looked out of focus and pictures appeared to be smudged all over. It is only good for taking the odd shot in bright light, and without a macro mode, the camera is pretty much worthless when it comes to taking close-ups."

3G reviews the LG KG810 and writes about the phone's camera: "The 1.3-megapixel camera can be fired up from the dedicated camera keys on the navigation pad or on side of the handset. The KG810 shoots in a 1280x960 resolution and its pop-up on-screen menu system clearly shows the settings, making it very easy to operate and modify while in capture mode. It will also let you change the brightness, white balance, picture effects and shot sequence if you’re really into your photography but unlike the KG800, there is no LED flash. Otherwise the photo quality is pretty adequate at this level, despite being prone to over-exposure. Similarly, the QCIF-quality video recordings are negligible."
