LG KC550 Reviews

CNET UK does a hands on review of the LG KC550 and writes, "If old phones don't float your boat, LG has come up with a relatively inexpensive solution in the LG KC550 slider. It doesn't have 3G or Wi-Fi, but it does come with a 5-megapixel camera that takes good shots in daylight. It's worth mentioning that there's only an LED photo light on the camera, so shots in low light don't come out brilliantly, but in the daytime it performed just fine."

Mobile Choice reviews the LG KC550 and writes, "In terms of photography, shutter lag - the time between pressing the trigger and the camera taking its shot - was minimal. It was perhaps not as good as on a mid-range dedicated compact, but it wasn't bad, and the time taken for the camera to be ready for the next shot is also reasonable. It's also a easy to switch from photo to video recording."

CNET UK reviews the LG KC550 and writes, "The LG KC550 isn't going to set the camera phone world on fire, but it's relatively cheap. While we're annoyed that it doesn't have 3G or Wi-Fi and the camera lacks a xenon flash, we think it's a good option if you're watching the pennies...If you want something with more oomph then we suggest going for Nokia N82 that packs in almost every feature out there. You could also opt for the slimmer LG Secret, which boasts HSDPA (3.5G) and a 5-megapixel camera."
