HP iPAQ hw6915

HP iPAQ hw6915InfoSync reviews the HP iPAQ hw6915 and is not particularly impressed with the device, with the exception of the GPS feature. About the PDA's camera: "Lastly on the note of hardware, we find a mediocre 1.3 Megapixel camera backed up two surprisingly capable applications for capture and viewing in HP's Photosmart Camera and Photosmart Mobile. In fact, the former even ties into the GPS functionality of the hw6915 to tag photos with coordinates; now that's clever."

Pocket-lint reviews the HP hw6915 and gives it a nine out of ten rating: "The hw6900 seems to have it all; phone, wireless connection, an easy to use QWERTY keyboard, push email similar to the BlackBerry and even TomTom navigation with a built in GPS all in a package no bigger than packet of Maltesers. This is probably the closest you will ever get to fitting your entire office into you pocket."

VnuNet reviews the HP iPAQ hw6915 and writes, 'Not much bigger than a Smartphone and with quad-band reception built-in, you don't look foolish with it pressed up to your ear to take a call. It has a 1.3 megapixel camera built into its back, too. ... Below the screen is a physical QWERTY keypad which can be used with mobile applications and, of course, messaging and texting. Those with large fingers may have to resort to thumb and fingernails, but with a bit of practice it's probably easier than the onscreen keyboard and stylus, which is still an option."

ITReviews reviews the HP iPAQ hw6915 and writes, "There's more to the device than GPS, though, as it has a 1.3-megapixel camera built into its back. Turn the PDA sideways and press a button on its side - which doubles as a camera power switch and shutter release - and you have a 76mm LCD screen for the digital camera. Picture quality is as good as most camera phones and you can record videos, too."
