Doctor launces Skin Care Consultations by Camera phone

A Singaporean Doctor is treating patients for skincare problems via the web using camera phone technology at iSkin.

'The world's first interactive skincare and aesthetic website, iSkin.tv, was launched to bring beauty tips closer to consumers.

The next time you have a skin break-out, or are down with some obscene rash, just snap a picture and send it via MMS to the industry experts.

Renowned plastic surgeon Dr Woffles Wu and President of the Singapore Dermatological Society, Dr Cheong Wai Kwong have offered to give tips on-demand to consumers.

'This means, if you have a problematic skin or even have some queries on skincare, instead of buying a product that you're unsure of its effectiveness, you can first consult the panel of doctors on how best to tackle your problem.' said Dr Wu.

For a monthly subscription fee of up to $5, consumers can get skincare tips in the form of text, pictures and video via their mobile phones.'
