Camera phones get more user friendly



'Camera phone companies are getting the message loud and clear: Consumers will take more pictures if the quality is better and the printing is easier.

Several companies, exhibiting at the Photo Marketing Association International convention here, are offering more user-friendly models:

Asian manufacturer Samsung showed off its a800, which has a built-in 2-megapixel camera phone sensor, the largest in the USA. A megapixel is a measure of a camera resolution, and most consumer cameras are 3-megapixel, compared with 1/4-megapixels for most camera phones. That resolution is so low, prints can be blown up only to about wallet size.'
