Audiovox SMT5600 Review - CNET



audiovox_SMT5600.jpgCNET reviews the Audiovox SMT 5600 and writes - 'Upside: TV on your mobile sounds gimmicky, but it doesn't look half bad on the 2.2-inch, 64,000-color LCD. This candy bar-style phone is smaller and lighter (3.7 ounces) than the Motorola MPx200, and we found the SMT5600's design to be both handsome and easy to use. Since the phone sports WMP 10.0, it seamlessly autosyncs with any PC that also has the program, as well as ActiveSync (a free download). Users familiar with the desktop version of WMP 10.0 will welcome the addition of many of those features on the phone, including album art and the ability to play subscription-based content from online sources such as Napster....

Downside: The built-in camera captures both stills and video but has only a VGA resolution. At the moment, the Mini SD expansion limits you to 256MB, whereas we'd really like more room for all our music and video, and the slot is tucked behind the battery. Moreover, the included earbud-style headset is incredibly uncomfortable.... '
