I heard that you can't vote from the person from your own country for the first 30 minutes of the show? I think that's good.

Now don't think im being a bitter englishmen as i promise you i am not, but would it not be better if you couldnt vote for you own country as the size of america would surely make it a white wash for kelly clarkson, so though i can support will young (uk winner) i can't actually vote for him.

Hi everyone i am definitely going for GUY the fro is the maddest. I think cosima should have won but wateva guy has the greatest voice but one huge competitor will be Kelly Clarkson the queen of American Idol but i ont want this to be a whole racial thing so i wish all the contestants the best of luck and i know they will all do a great performance.

OK....u forgot to mention Kelly Clarksons biggest competition - GUY SEBASTIAN. I have heard Kelly Clarkson live and she is nothing to GUY's angelic voice.
I also think that there is a jury from each country and they give every country bar there own 1 - 10 votes - like the Eurovision song contest - that would be fair anyway.

hi all im over in the UK living in Scotland, but im an aussie and saw about 5 weeks of oz idol.
I was spell bound by Guy from the first week. the way he changed songs i loved and i still liked them amazed me as i normally hate that.
Ive missed hearing so much of him singing on the show and am not happy, hope to get his album soon and see him win world idol, if they go buy talent and not who is a local he is a big big chance!
either way i think he is brillant,original and totally unique. go the fro!!! Go Guy!

It's great that guy won Australian Idol and he's going to represent us, because I don't think there are many ppl that could do a better job than him (If you havn't figured it out i'm a big Guy fan). Having said that I don't think you guys should go underestimating the tallents of the other idols from around the world, I mean, they're idols! If they're idols, then they must be really skilled... but I still think Guy will win! Good luck to all the idols and especially Guy!

I just can't wait 2 watch world idol screen, & I will be in tears with excitment to see all, but mostly am so excited that the world will get to see our very humble Guy Sebastian. The world should fall in love with what he sings, just his smile his crisma & the most beautiful voice I have listened 2 in years. Hey all! American here wondering if anyone has heard anything about these contestants(other than Guy, of course...read enough about him here). I'm very excited and want to hear what people think of Kelly Clarkson and see how she compares to worldwide talent. Please don't vote for her unless you feel she truly deserves it...it's about time someone new from outside the US gets some airtime here in the US.

i really like kelly clarkson's voice. its so sweet 2 hear. i keep listening 2 "climb every mountain" n i thought id get used 2 hearing guys voice n thought mayb it wud wear off... mayb his voice isnt as strong n powerful as i thought... but again n again i keep proving myself wrong. especially when u try 2 sing along with him or listen 2 it loud n clearly n no distractions, u realise his voice is something else. his voice isnt just unique... what he can do with it too... the notes he hits... how his voice just seems 2 echo
i only hope that he sings as good or even better than he did at aussie idol at world idol
i hope he sings really high so australia can show the US that theyre not the only one with the strong, powerful n unique singer like kelly
