I got 302, but I didn't find that near as rewarding as when he went straight in the air and landed face down a few feet away and the sign... uh... well, it was just funny.

312.4 Quite discouraging--I had played another version recently where the high scores were nearly 600. That version must have been programmed differently.

298.7 I played a version at http://www.mironov.net/pingu/pingu3.swf which is not longer online. There were four versions at this site, pingu - pingu3, each with progressively less gravity. On the last version I was able to score 1161.8.

I've heard there are two versions out there and the one I have posted doesn't go as far.

I got 323.5 too... and I can't ever seem to beat that. I wonder what the maximum possible distance is (using this version's physics)?

Very cute. Just thought I would point out that it's actually an Abominable Snowman (Yeti) doing the hitting and not a polar bear, not that I could hit it any further knowing that. It probably won't help your score either.
