V Day

14 February, 2004 5:19 PM

Today has been great. Its Valentines day of course which isn't something we go over the top with at all, but something I guess that is in the back of our minds today. This morning we exchanged cards - we are a big on card giving. After that we went to two good friend's engagement party. Its been great to see their relationship blossom - very nice morning of catching up with friends - eating pancakes and sipping champagne.

After that V and I headed into the city for the last our our painting classes. Once again I loved the process. Our paintings really came together in this last session. I'll take a picture and post it later on.

Once the class had finished we wandered around the city - had an iced coffee, did a bit of shopping, ate some sushi etc. It got a little hot in the end (supposed to be 41 or so (Celsius) today.

Tonight we're going down the road for Thia food. Should be nice - my mouth is watering already at the thought.

All in all its been one of those relaxed days where life just seems rather great.

I think I might go have a snooze before dinner.

I'm glad it's been a good day for you mate!
