The Green Man has an interesting post on how Feminism is dying out in more recent generations. It is worth the read.

To me the most significant question regards feminism, is why feminists have not developed communes that were completely independent of men. I have had a passing interest in this and I have researched it somewhat, but I have heard of only one such commune and from what I can understand life there was extremely primitive (eg still living in tents after a number of years etc)
Living completely without men would be the ultimate test that feminists have almost universally failed to attempt. Women appear to intrinsically know that they can't do very well at all without men.
However many feminists have nothing but complaints regards men and masculinity. I put this down to an almost natural inclination to "dump on men". From my general observations this habit of women seems to be the most common thing they will do when carrying out "female bonding".
Another habit seems to be an almost universal desire to look at things from a very narrow point of view. Feminist's view that they have been subjugated and dominated by men, fails to understand that women have remained alive. For example, workplaces have never been as safe as they are now, and quite often in the past the safest place for women was in the home. It was men that went out and sacrificed themselves, and I wonder how many women would be demanding equal opportunity to work in such places as coal mines 100 yrs ago.
In general, feminism has never been greatly altruistic and it has had an extremely narrow view of things. The desire to blame men for almost everything appears to play at least some part of the female psyche, and perhaps it is something that can't be entirely eliminated.

yes feminism is being redefined but not because we know we "can't do very well at all without men". please, who do you think you are? "men that went out and sacrificed themselves"? and women did nothing but sit in the kitchen right?
thank you men for your 2 cents. but its not needed.

yes it is true that men have sacrificed themselves at more hazardous occupations than women... from trash collecting (yes it is hazardous) to fighting fires. yet the only tribute women pay is to gripe about their precious rights. oh can i have a kleenex to wipe my tears for women who may have to fetch a pot of coffee at work ? can i get a witness to the women who paraded around in front of cameras and burnt parts of their clothing just to have an opportunity to compete against men in the workplace ? who would want to marry or date one of them ? please.. please.. go move to vermont feminists and have a civil union with another woman. don't have anything to do with men ok ? time will take care of your numbers.

I disagree. I think feminism is being redefined. It's not dying.
