Patenting Shock and Awe

The US patent office has had a run of trademark applications using "Shock and Awe" in their names. The list of 29 products includes condoms, coffee, golf clubs, pesticides, dietary supplements, fireworks, video games, salsa, energy drinks, yo-yos, lingerie, Bloody Mary mix and "infant action crib toys. Well, it shows just how much President Bush was in touch with the general public in using the phrase. LOL. Or perhaps it cheapens what he meant by it, seeing as it can be applied to such a wide range of ideas.

I doubt if there would be such a reaction her ei Australia, given the opinion of many of us about the whole thing.
