Open Mike - Blogger Technical Difficulties

I'm totally sick of Blogger, which other blogging tool do people recommend?

It seems like my whole blogging world is coming down. BlogShares was just shutdown and now Blogger is having problems... sigh, I might have to actually pay for something on the internet. Where is that "What to do when your blog is down" article?

Blogshares was shut down? What happened with them?

Faye, MovableType is pretty nice too. I really think a person needs to try all the options and pick the one that is the most comfortable though.

I use a standalone blog program imaginativly called Blog

It works pretty well, no dependancies on someone else's server being up. I'm working on a 100% Java blog program called Chronicle, but it's slow going.
