Richard Bott is doing a fascinating marriage survey.
He asks people to anonamously answer the following question in his comments section.
a) define "marriage"
b) on a scale of 1 to 10 (1 being EVERYTHING, 10 being NOTHING) please indicate what you believe the institution of marriage has to do with parenting.
c) state if you believe that same-sex couples should be able to be married.
d) state if you believe that same-sex couples should have the equivalent rights to married couples, but under a different name.
e) let me know what decade you were born in - 1920s, 1930s, 1940s, 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s
f) let me know the country you currently reside in (just the country!).
I will be very interested to see these results.

a)definition, A union of two people before GOD. not a church or state goverment.
b) on a scale of 1 to 10 (1 being EVERYTHING, 10 being NOTHING) please indicate what you believe the institution of marriage has to do with parenting. 10 some heterosexuals have the good sense to think about having children instead of following the decree to multiply. We have done that! It is ok to slow down now.
c) state if you believe that same-sex couples should be able to be married. YES
d) state if you believe that same-sex couples should have the equivalent rights to married couples, but under a different name. YES that works also
e) let me know what decade you were born in - 1950s,
f) let me know the country you currently reside in (just the country!). Supposed land of the free.
