Creativity Unleashed

7 February, 2004 8:54 PM

pic1.jpgToday was week 2 of our painting class.

I've really been enjoying having another creative outlet. I haven't painted since I was about 16 years old at school - but I feel like we're learning quite a bit.

One of the best parts of the process is that you completely still your mind and focus in on being creative. Todays session absolutely flew by. I really enjoyed it. One more week to go and I'll fully unveil my 'masterpiece'. pic2.jpg

In the mean time here are a couple of small sections of my piece (its a work in progress remember). Can you work out what I'm painting? I'm not sure if anyone will be able to - I've gone a little abstract.

The section to the lower right kind of reminded me of a small boat...but that's probably not it, right?

Any how, looking good, Darren! Keep on painting!

Do you know how close you came to "Can you tell what it is yet?"
And so the big secret comes out - Darren Rowse is *really* Rolf Harris!
There's no point denying it. I bet you've nver been photographed together. That proves it.

I don't know Darren. I imagine that the nude model was a massive inspiration but I think she might be a bit disappointed with her representation.

thanks for the complements - I must say you can make anything look interesting in a close up picture :-)

No one has got it right yet!

It's obviously a red jellyfish swimming near an electric blue 1969 Thunderbird...
