Blogathon Topics

19 January, 2004 4:17 PM

At this time in two days time I will have been blogging for almost 12 hours straight on my 2004 Blogathon. I am scared yet excited. I can't wait to see if we can raise enough to change some families lives in the slums of Manilla - yet I'm scared I'm going to hit the wall on the day! What if I can't come up with enough material.

I'm thinking of aiming to post something every 15 minutes. Thats just under 100 posts. I have no idea if I can handle that rate or not. Maybe I need some help - does anyone have any cool ideas for topics? I've had quite a few questions submitted already - but if you have more I'd be happy to answer them on the day. What do you want me to write about? I mean you are the poor readers that are going to have to wade through it all, it might as well be on something that interests you! Ideas?

By the way we've already raised around $85US to go towards the pedicab project. Thanks to those who have generously given. Please consider contributing if you are in a financial position to do so. Thanks.

Though http://blogfodder.com no longer offers new suggestions, the archives might be a good place to source ideas.

While perhaps I might be in a minority to be so interested, how about something about Aussie dirt track late model racing. I've heard it is gaining in popularity, and somehow, an Aussie site found my Steelerdirtfreak.com site and linked to it, which I thought was was pretty cool. Anyways, there's something I'd like to hear about.

How about...
1. Your favourite recipes
2. Things that clouds sometimes look like
3. What goes on in a cat's head
4. Places you used to hang out as a kid
5. Possible ways the world will end, and which is more likely.
6. What goes on in a dog's head
7. The stupidest names for paint colour shades ever!
8. Proposed techniques for calculating the amount of lost paperclips in the world.
