Blog Tip 19 - Content Tools

22 November, 2003 8:07 AM

Finding good fresh content for your blog will make it more attractive to your readers. There are a number of great online tools that I have used to come up with up to date content that might be useful for others.

Let me say first up that the relevance of these tools will vary from blogger to blogger....

This blog tip on Content Tools has been relocated to Pro Blogger - Blog Content Tools

One thing I've noticed is that if I see something on one blog, I'm likely to see it on a dozen blogs, eg. the church sign generator or a popular article from one of the webzines. This is why I usually refrain from posting the same stuff -- I figure people must be tired of seeing it!

Plus I like talking about myself too much to talk about other things instead :P

Great tips. I think different items will apply to different styles of blogging/bloggerst. Example:

YahooBuzz was new to me so I went to take a peek. Very interesting information however, there is no way on earth I am blogging about Paris Hilton, Brittany Spears or Michael Jackson.

However, feedster looks very promising. I will try it before writing the next few entries to see if I am being fresh or redundant.

JENNY GEAR SHOULD WIN... WAIT, she never won Canadian Idol... :'(... anyway....

I've took a listen to a couple of the Idol's personally, our own Ryan Malcolm is the only one that has what it takes to win...
