Another thing for the more advanced users who are either using an installed package (MT, pmachine) or like me wrote the blog code themselves is to load the metatags. Each individual story has its own keywords and descriptions in the database and those are loaded when the page is loaded. Plus I have set the tags to give robots precise instructions on how to behave. I get 500 to 2000 click thrus a day from Google depending upon whether there is a hot topic in the air at the moment.
