Yesterday i was trawling Camera shops in the city doing some research for my dad who is wanting to buy a digital camera. I was talking to one sales guy and he began to tell me about some online camera review sites. He told me about a couple of the big well known ones and then proceeded to recommend I check out my own Digital Photography Blog. What a bizarre feeling!

I don't quite get it, probably because I'm new around here. Does he not know that it's your blog? I know I'm going to feel really dumb as soon you answer and I suddenly get it.

Did you clue him in, or just thank him seriously and remain incognito?

I get the same feeling when I see an entry on my site listed on websites under the category of "media reviews" and worse still when a seemingly mainstream site is pointing to The Green Man as an authority on a subject, eg Over medication of children.
I feel like emailing them and saying, "hey it was just a bit of a rant"

Thats awesome! I would be so shocked if I found someone who regularly read my blog!

i didnt say anything - I was pretty shocked about the randomness of it....made me want to go and do some more work on the site as I'm not overly impressed with my design of it etc....should be redesigned shortly.
It was a nice feeling.
