GO SHANNON - you rock Australia. It's so great to have such a genuine rock voice still left in the competition. It doesn't matter that you can't dance very well, you entertain the audience with your voice - not your moves. (Although i love your spontaneous jumps!)

I totally agree Anna, I think that Shannon is still in with a good chance of winning this competition. His main attribute is how unique his voice is - think about it - how many male rock singers were there that auditioned?
Good luck to both shannon and guy - but for this competition I'm a softy for the underdog.........GO SHAN!!

I think Guy should win Australian Idol cause he is such a music freak. Give him any song and he can turn it into his own. So if you don't go for

If Guy doesn't win, it'll be because there will be those who assume that so many people will be voting there's no need for them to do so. Guy is just so talented - he has universal appeal. My grandchildren adore the funky Guy just as I find anything at all that he sings spellbinding. Please cast your vote - Australians will be proud if he wins and enters World Idol.

That's a really gay thing to say, guy is a really good singer and i doubt that he "voted 4 himself heaps" and i don't think that he's "up himself" either, if you think so just because he has confidence in his voice (which he should have, considering he is amazingly talented) then maybe you should consider trying to get over being a sore loser, it's obvious that although shannon and guy are both good singers, australia thinks that guy is the best.

im not saying that shannon cant sing but come on clean ur ears if u dont recognise whos the better singer. i mean shannon can sing and sell albums but u should give it to the one who deserves to be recognised as a true talent and u did and for that i am so proud of this country for doing that coz if guy dint win i was gonna say theres something totally wrong with this country when a true talent who we are even lucky to have, who really deserves recognition wouldnt get it.
sure shannon has had a hard life but how do u know guy hasnt too and its not even about that, if it was a different kind of competition... yea u cud vote for shannon but this is about music and its up to us to give a person who truly deserved it not just coz we feel sorry for him.
just imagine if shannon won??? ask yourself did he really deserve that win or did he just win because we felt sorry for him??? its not just guys voice either, its how he uses it. hes not just a guy with a great voice but is lazy in using his voice. he works hard to make sure his voice is the best when we hear it.

Although i think that Guy is Sexy and absolutly brilliant i Know that both Guy and Shannon are two amazing guys who worked to the best of their ability. To say that either one is better then the other is really not a very nice thing to say since they both entered at the same time and stuck together till the END, and finished at the exact same time! They also were brave enuf to cope with the pressure and last to the Finale.

I think Guy is the best! He's a very talented singer and he connects to people through the music! I love his song Angels brought me here! Both Shannon and Guy are great but Guy's my legend and I know Guy doesn't like being raised above the audience and he want's to be just like everyone else so he should be treated like he wants, as everyone should.I am a strong christian believer and I only wish that I could of seen him singing at his church! I think that both Shannon and Guy are geat singers!!! Personally I think that Shannon should have won, but then again I think that Guy will do us proud.
I am a HUGE Shannon supporter, so good on Guy for winning and good on Shannon for coming runner-up. All Shannon's fans will still support him no matter what, so don't say that Australia voted that Guy won, cause there is still heaps of people who voted for Shannon! Go Shannon!!!

My brother Mitchel wrote in a while ago and I would just like to say that David, Kate, Alexandra, Mia, Lachlan, Sophia, Mitchel, Daniel, Jamilla, Eric, Damion, my mum and dad (my family) all support Shannon! We watched Australian Idol and totally loved it! I was the biggest Shannon fan and have 6 posters of him up on my wall. Even my 1 year old brother, Damion, totally loves Shannon! I think that Shannon has an amazing voice and even though I'm only 9 I think that Shannon is a total CUTIE!!!
