Nudie Bar Mission

Hamo asks if its ok for a pastor to be doing mission in a nudie bar? Its not a hypothetical question - what did Hamo do?

I think for some it is a good place to go. For others, the temptation will be too strong and such a place should be avoided. I don't think there is any one answer for all people.

If you are a minister perhaps you should ask yourself "Who is most in need of my ministry, the people who turn up on Sunday morning or the people in the nudie bar?" I think the answer is relatively clear cut but it is for you to decide.

btw, I am not sure what temptation exists in the nudie bar that you don't bring with you. My experience has been that the women who work in these establishments are comfortable with their bodies and grateful of the work. The disfunctional group are the clients.

Hmm. What DID Hamo do?

Chris has got a point, but I just can't see Jesus going into a Nudie bar.

I think Jesus is already in the nudie bars. (But I wouldn't be able to join him myself because of my own weakness.)

I don't see him in the crowd around the stage. I picture him in the back, in conversation with people whom God loves dearly.

Wow, all this debate... and I hadn't even bothered to read what Hamo actually did. Everyone should go check it out -- a great story.
